Samsung Galaxy A13

  • Screen: 6.6″ (2408×1080)
  • Memory: 4/128 GB
  • Camera: 50 + 5 + 2 + 2 MP
  • Battery: 5000 mAh
  • Processor: Samsung Exynos 850

One of the best smartphones under 15,000 rubles with a 128 GB drive is the Samsung Galaxy A13. It runs on the fresh Android 12 system and supports NFC. The camera here is quadruple: the main sensor, an ultra wide-angle (123-degree field of view), a macro camera and a depth sensor for capturing high-quality portraits.

Many will like the design of the model: the camera sensors are inscribed directly into the back, and are not located on a separate panel. There are three colors: black, white and blue. The Samsung-made processor is not the most powerful and was developed back in 2020 (although the smartphone itself was released in March 2022). But for simple 3D games at medium settings, its power is enough.

realme 8i

  • Screen: 6.59″ (2408×1080) IPS 120Hz
  • Memory: 4/128 GB
  • Camera: 50 + 2 + 2 MP
  • Battery: 5000 mAh
  • Processor: MediaTek Helio G96

In our review, we dubbed the realme 8i «mid-range as it should be». We particularly liked the image quality of the main 50-megapixel camera, which allows you to take decent pictures even at night. It is also impossible not to say about the screen — this is a high-quality IPS-matrix with high resolution and support for a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Gamers will definitely like this display. Games, by the way, work on a smartphone without problems: for example, fps in Word Of Tanks Blitz did not drop below 40 at medium graphics settings.

If you do not pay extra for Rostest, then you can buy a version with 4/128 GB of memory for less than 15,00 rubles.

Infinix HOT 11S NFC

  • Screen: 6.78″ (2460×1080) IPS 90Hz
  • Memory: 6/128 GB
  • Camera: 50 + 2 + 2 MP
  • Battery: 5000 mAh
  • Processor: MediaTek Helio G88

Unlike other smartphones in our selection, Infinix HOT 11S NFC is equipped with not 4, but 6 GB of RAM. This allows it to effectively multitask when multiple applications or browser tabs are open at once. We also note a large frameless IPS display with a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz. The front camera is inscribed directly into the screen, and above it is a double flash.

The 5000 capacity battery supports 18W fast charging: up to 50% in 50 minutes. And the adapter is already included. In addition, the smartphone has an NFC module and stereo speakers (and not one, like many budget models).

TECNO Spark 8P

  • Screen: 6.6″ (2408×1080)
  • Memory: 4/128 GB
  • Camera: 50 + 2 MP
  • Battery: 5000 mAh
  • Processor: MediaTek Helio G70

The TECNO Spark 8P model can be bought for an average of 14,000 rubles, and this is a good price, given its characteristics. So, you will get a large high-resolution screen, a 5000 mAh battery and the possibility of contactless payment via NFC (during the sanctions period, you can install Mir Pay instead of Google Pay).

The smartphone has an unusual design: a panel with cameras occupies a quarter of the back, from end to end. Like many state employees, only two sensors are installed here: the main and auxiliary, for measuring depth and creating a bokeh effect. It is also interesting that the camera is able to focus on the eyes, which allows you to take clear pictures of people, even if they are in motion.

Samsung Galaxy S20

  • Screen: 6.5″ Super AMOLED, 2400×1080, 120Hz
  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 865
  • Memory: 6 GB RAM / 128 GB permanent
  • Cameras: 12 MP + 12 MP + 8 MP, front — 32 MP
  • Battery: 4500 mAh

Despite its already fairly advanced age, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is still one of the company’s most interesting smartphones in terms of price and features. And even more attractive to the gadget is the recent release of the Galaxy S21 FE, thanks to which its cost has fallen even lower.

This smartphone uses, if far from the latest, but still extremely productive flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset. practically does not heat up, working stably even with a long serious load. For example, such as games.

In addition, the device received a bright 6.5-inch sAMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and a built-in fingerprint scanner and is equipped with an excellent set of cameras from the main 12-megapixel sensor, 12-megapixel wide and 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. The battery of the gadget is quietly enough for a day of active use, and 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory is enough for any task. At the same time, the smartphone costs quite a bit.

Samsung Galaxy S22+

  • Screen: 6.6 inches, Dynamic AMOLED 2X, 2340×1080, 120 Hz
  • Processor: Samsung Exynos 2200
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM / 128 GB permanent
  • Cameras: 50 MP + 12 MP + 10 MP, front — 10 MP
  • Battery: 4500 mAh

Probably no one will argue with the fact that the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is the most advanced flagship of the Korean manufacturer in 2022. But this is a rather specific and expensive smartphone, if you are not interested in handwriting and painting, and you really want to buy a flagship with the ultimate performance, then the Galaxy S22 + will be the best solution for you.

The smartphone is built on the top proprietary Samsung Exynos 2200 chipset with 8 GB of RAM and uses a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The set of cameras on this gadget also looks great: a 50-megapixel main sensor with excellent image quality both day and night, a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with optical zoom.

Why not the Galaxy S22? The Samsung Galaxy S22+ «lives» on a single charge much longer than its younger brother, whose battery is not enough even for a day of active work. The main disadvantage of the Galaxy S22+ is that with the flagship performance of the Exynos 2200, this chipset also heats up in a very childish way, experiencing serious problems with throttling.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4

  • Screen: 7.6 inches, Dynamic AMOLED 2X, 120 Hz; 6.2″ 120Hz
  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1
  • Memory: 12 GB RAM / 256 GB permanent
  • Cameras: 50 MP + 12 MP + 10 MP, front — 10 MP
  • Battery: 4400 mAh

If you’re into experimentation and want to experience new sensations with unusual form factors, then you should definitely take a look at the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4, one of the best foldable smartphones on the market. It boasts excellent multitasking with a foldable-optimized interface and eliminates the main problem of the first such devices — an improved hinge and more reliable protection of the foldable screen significantly increase its reliability.

The internal folding Dynamic AMOLED 2X display of the gadget has a diagonal of 7.6 inches, and the external 6.2-inch screen with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz allows you to fully use it even when folded. There are also absolutely no questions about the performance of the device — the flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and 12 GB of RAM speak for themselves. Well, what Samsung without good cameras? There is a set of a main 50-megapixel sensor, a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens. And as a nice bonus, you get an under-screen selfie camera. True, its resolution is quite small — 4 megapixels, and for better self-portraits it is better to use a standard 10 megapixel selfie camera.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G

  • Screen: 6.7 inches, 2640×1080, Dynamic AMOLED 2X, 120Hz
  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 888
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM / 256 GB permanent
  • Cameras: 12 MP + 12 MP, front — 10 MP
  • Battery: 3300 mAh

Girls will most of all like another format of a folding smartphone — Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G. Not only does it offer a feminine design reminiscent of an old-school flip phone (or powder box, if you like that comparison), but it also costs a lot less than the Galaxy Z Fold4. At the same time, the gadget really knows how to stand out against the background of the faceless rectangles of modern smartphones.

As for its capabilities, like most fashion products, there is nothing extraordinary in them. The model’s 6.7-inch folding screen has a resolution of 2640×1080 pixels. It uses a fast Snapdragon 888 chipset with 8 GB of RAM and is equipped with a set of a main 12-megapixel camera and a width with the same resolution. The weak side of the model is its 3300 mAh battery. Without recharging, he can live a maximum of a day.

Samsung Galaxy A73 5G

  • Screen: 6.7″ 2400×1080 Super AMOLED Plus 120Hz
  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM / 128 GB permanent
  • Cameras: 108 MP + 12 MP + 5 MP + 5 MP, front — 32 MP
  • Battery: 5000 mAh

The Samsung Galaxy A73 5G is a prime example of what a mid-range smartphone should be. It has a productive and rather cool Snapdragon 778G platform with 8 GB of RAM, a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and Full HD + resolution, and its 5000 mAh battery will last for a couple of days work without recharging.

Fans of mobile photography will also like the gadget. Its 108-megapixel main camera with optical stabilization takes great pictures in any lighting conditions. She is accompanied by a 12-megapixel wide, and for self-portraits there is a 32-megapixel selfie camera with very good shooting quality.

Samsung Galaxy A53 5G

  • Screen: 6.5 inches, 2400×1080, Super AMOLED, 120 Hz
  • Processor: Samsung Exynos 1280
  • Memory: 6 GB RAM / 128 GB permanent
  • Cameras: 64 MP + 12 MP + 5 MP + 5 MP, front — 32 MP
  • Battery: 5000 mAh

If you want something a little simpler and cheaper, then we suggest you pay attention to the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G model. This is a great budget mid-range smartphone with a fast 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and Samsung’s proprietary Exynos 1280 chipset, handling all day-to-day tasks and almost all games without any problems.

The high-quality main 64-megapixel camera of the gadget is complemented by a 12-megapixel wide, while the other two sensors of the system — 5-megapixel depth and macro sensors — play a rather decorative role. For self-portraits, a very decent 32-megapixel camera is provided here, and a 5000 mAh battery is responsible for the autonomy of the smartphone, which is quietly enough for 2 days of work without recharging. Buying a Samsung Galaxy A53 5G is not worth it only if you already have a Galaxy A52s smartphone — the new generation is inferior to its predecessor in terms of performance. And where the Galaxy A53 5G is really good is picture quality — it has one of the best screens in its price category.

Samsung Galaxy M52 5G

  • Screen: 6.7 inches, 2400×1080 Super AMOLED Plus, 120Hz
  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM / 128 GB permanent
  • Cameras: 64 MP + 12 MP + 5 MP, front — 32 MP
  • Battery: 5000 mAh

At first glance, the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G looks a lot like the noticeably more expensive Galaxy A73 5G. But, of course, the difference in the price of devices of almost 10,000 rubles cannot form from scratch. The M-series smartphone has a lot of compromises, but none of them are significant enough to make it unworthy of our 2022 Samsung rankings.

Judge for yourself, instead of Corning Gorilla Glass 5, the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G screen is protected by ordinary tempered glass, and the display itself does not support HDR10 and DCI-P3 color space. The main camera of the gadget is slightly worse, and the lack of a depth sensor can hardly be attributed to serious shortcomings. But the smartphone is based on the same productive Snapdragon 778G chipset with 8 GB of RAM, and its battery has a capacity of 5000 mAh and is in no way inferior to the Galaxy A73 5G in terms of autonomy. Therefore, if the Galaxy M52 5G compromises we have named do not matter much to you, but you still want to save 8-10 thousand rubles, this device can be an excellent choice for you.

Samsung Galaxy A23

  • Screen: 6.6 inch, 2408×1080, PLS, 90Hz
  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 680
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM / 64 GB permanent
  • Cameras: 50 MP + 5 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP, front — 8 MP
  • Battery: 5000 mAh

Which Samsung to buy in 2022 if your budget is limited? In our opinion, the answer to this question can be the Samsung Galaxy A23 — one of the best entry-mid-range smartphones at a more than reasonable price. The strongest point of this gadget is the perfectly balanced Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset with decent performance and excellent power efficiency.

But the rest of the characteristics of the smartphone look more than decent for its level. We will find here a large 6.6-inch screen with an increased refresh rate of up to 90 Hz, a very good main camera in the company with a wide and, of course, a powerful 5000 mAh battery. In combination with the energy-efficient hardware of the gadget, it is quietly enough for a couple of days of work away from the outlet.

Samsung Galaxy A12

  • Screen: 6.5 inch, 1600×720, pls
  • Processor: Samsung Exynos 850
  • Memory: 3 GB RAM / 32 GB permanent
  • Cameras: 48 MP + 5 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP, front — 8 MP
  • Battery: 5000 mAh

Our ranking of Samsung 2022 in terms of value for money continues with the very inexpensive Samsung Galaxy A12. For a very reasonable price, this gadget offers a good 48-megapixel camera and a very rare wide-angle lens in devices of this class. Well, the device is based on the proprietary Samsung Exynos 850 chipset with 3 GB of RAM. It is enough for smooth operation of the interface, any everyday tasks and not the most demanding games.

The 6.5-inch screen of the model does not have the highest resolution of 1600×720 pixels. However, for such a price it is excusable. And what the Samsung Galaxy A12 is really good at is the ability to forget about frequent recharging of the smartphone. Its battery lasts for two days of active use. We also liked its body — thanks to the ribbed texture, it does not slip and lies very comfortably in the hand.

Samsung Galaxy A02

  • Screen: 6.5 inch, 1600×720, pls
  • Processor: MediaTek MT6739
  • Memory: 2 GB RAM / 32 GB permanent
  • Cameras: 13 MP + 2 MP, front — 5 MP
  • Battery: 5000 mAh

If you are wondering which Samsung is better in 2022 with very little money on hand, take a look at the Samsung Galaxy A02. But at the same time, be prepared for a lot of compromises, because of which this smartphone is much inferior, for example, to the same Galaxy A12.

However, the screens of the gadgets are very similar. Samsung Galaxy A02 is also equipped with a 6.5-inch PLS display with a low resolution of 1600×720 pixels. But then the compromises that we talked about begin — a weak camera, not the fastest processor and a small amount of RAM. Plus, the gadget is in a powerful 5000 mAh battery, which is enough for 2 days of active work, and in the box with it is a 15 W power adapter. But even with fast charging, it takes about 3 hours to fully charge the device.

Smartphone rating 2021: top 10 best models

The concept of “the best smartphone” can be interpreted in different ways: for some, this is a top-end flagship, while for others, it’s just a good device for the money. Therefore, we did not focus on expensive flagships and chose models from different price categories, ranking smartphones in 2021 in terms of price and quality. So each user will be able to find a suitable gadget in our top and decide which phone to buy in 2021.

Let’s start the rating with the flagships and end with the most budget model.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra

  • Screen 6.8″, resolution 3200×1440 pixels.
  • 4 cameras: 108 MP, 12 MP, 10 MP, 10 MP
  • Processor Samsung Exynos 2100
  • Memory 12/128 GB, memory card slot
  • Battery 5000 mAh

The top smartphone with a good camera from the Galaxy S21 line, and at the same time the most expensive. In official stores, the Galaxy S20 Ultra model can be bought for an average of 99,000 rubles, but this price includes a lot of «chips». Firstly, the gadget is equipped with a huge amount of RAM (12 GB) and one of the most powerful Exynos 2100 processors in 2021.

The model also has an excellent 6.8-inch screen with support for a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a high resolution of 3200×1440 pixels, there is IP68 water resistance and four cameras with a 108 MP main lens. The smartphone can shoot video in 8K and supports 100x Space Zoom due to a system of two telephoto lenses with different optical zoom.

We did a detailed review of the Galaxy S21 Ultra camera — in it you can evaluate the pictures from the phone and its characteristics. Also in 2021, smartphones from the previous S20 line deserve attention. They are slightly different from the S21 camera configuration and run on a different processor, but still powerful and functional.

Apple iPhone 12 Pro

  • Screen 6.1″, resolution 2532×1170 pixels.
  • 3 cameras: 12MP, 12MP, 12MP, LiDAR
  • Apple A14 Bionic processor
  • Memory 6/128 GB, no card slot

In 2020, four new iPhones were released at once. For the iPhone 12 Pro model with a 128 GB drive, they ask from 99,000 rubles. The smartphone received an improved camera with a LiDAR sensor for night shooting, an updated 5nm A14 Bionic processor, and a magnetic pad on the back for convenient wireless charging. Like previous models, the smartphone supports eSIM.

The screen is now covered with a material based on ceramic nanocrystals — it is much stronger than ordinary glass. The design of the devices has also changed: the edges have become sharper, and the colors differ from the eleventh series. Now available in gold, graphite, white and blue iPhone 12 Pro.

HUAWEI Mate 40 Pro

  • Screen 6.76″, resolution 2772×1344 pixels.
  • 3 cameras: 50 MP, 20 MP, 12 MP
  • Processor Huawei Kirin 9000
  • Memory 8/256 GB, memory card slot
  • Battery 4400 mAh

The flagship HUAWEI Mate 40 Pro was released at the end of 2020 and cost 89,000 rubles at the start of sales. Its main feature is cameras from Leica. Thanks to them, the smartphone is suitable even for action shooting: the main and telephoto lenses support optical stabilization, there is a 5x optical zoom, laser autofocus and the ability to shoot in 4K at 60 fps.

The smartphone supports fast charging with record power: 66 W wired and 50 W wirelessly. Like the previous model, the screen received a 3D glass with a large diagonal and a fingerprint sensor. The gadget runs on the most powerful processor from Huawei Kirin 9000 and still does not support Google services. How you can do without Google Play, we talked about in a recent article.

Samsung Galaxy A72

  • Screen 6.7″, resolution 2400×1080
  • 4 cameras: 64 MP, 12 MP, 8 MP, 5 MP
  • Processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G
  • Memory 6/128 GB, memory card slot
  • Battery 5000 mAh

In the category up to 35,000 rubles, the choice is even greater than among the flagships. The smartphone with the best value for money can be considered the Galaxy A72, which costs about 34,000 rubles. It has a large AMOLED screen with a miniature cutout for the front camera — just like the flagships of the Galaxy S21 line. Unlike the previous model, it supports a 90Hz refresh rate and has an improved camera. The gadget can shoot at 64 megapixels, supports fast charging and runs on a fairly powerful Snapdragon 720G processor, which even allows you to run top games at high settings.

Also, the model received IP67 water protection, fresh Android 11 and an increased 5000 mAh battery. Read more about the smartphone in our review.

realme 8 pro

  • Screen 6.4″, resolution 2400×1080 pix.
  • 4 cameras: 108MP, 8MP, 2MP, 2MP
  • Processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G
  • Memory 6/128 GB, memory card slot
  • Battery 4500 mAh

Smartphones from the Chinese company realme have proven themselves well in the two years that they have been on the Russian market. The latest realme 8 Pro flagship, which costs about 24,000 rubles, is the most affordable gadget with a 108 MP camera. A huge set of built-in effects for shooting portraits also makes it a camera phone. In addition, the model received an AMOLED screen and a Snapdragon 720G gaming processor, as in the previous version of realme 7 Pro. The device supports 65W fast charging and can be charged up to 100% in less than an hour. We talked about the smartphone in more detail in the review.

Redmi Note 10 Pro

  • Screen 6.67″, resolution 2400×1080 pix.
  • 4 cameras: 108 MP, 8 MP, 5 MP, 2 MP
  • Processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G
  • Memory 8/128 GB, memory card slot
  • Battery 5020 mAh

Another mid-range smartphone that can safely be called a camera phone thanks to its 108-megapixel camera. Redmi Note 10 Pro is also equipped with a powerful Snapdragon gaming processor, has a decent amount of memory and a capacious battery. The screen here with a top refresh rate of 120 Hz and a brightness of up to 1200 nits — like the flagships. The smartphone also supports fast charging and can replenish the battery from zero to 100% in just 42 minutes.

OPPO Reno 4 Lite

  • Screen 6.43″, resolution 2400×1080 pix.
  • 4 cameras: 48 MP, 8 MP, 2 MP, 2 MP
  • Processor MediaTek Helio P95
  • Memory 8/128 GB, memory card slot
  • Battery 4000 mAh

Reno 4 Lite was released at the end of 2020 — we have already tested the smartphone. The gadget turned out to be very thin and light, but at the same time with a fairly large screen. We also liked how it shoots — the smartphone has excellent cameras, especially considering its low price (about 23,000 rubles). Interestingly, there are two front cameras: the second sensor is used to determine the depth of the scene and more clearly separate the foreground when shooting with the bokeh effect. The smartphone runs on Android 10 in one of the most convenient ColorOS shells, is equipped with a large amount of memory and has good autonomy. The kit comes with an 18W fast charger.

Poco X3 NFC

  • screen 6.67″, resolution 2400×1080 pix.
  • 4 cameras: 64 MP, 13 MP, 2 MP, 2 MP
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G processor
  • 6/128 GB memory, memory card slot
  • battery 5160 mAh

If we consider the best budget smartphones, then you should pay attention to the Poco brand — like Redmi, it belongs to Xiaomi, so it is logical to expect the best quality for your money from these smartphones. And Poco X3 NFC lives up to expectations: it costs about 20,000 rubles, but it is equipped with a screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Even new iPhones have not received such a hertz as this Chinese smartphone. It also boasts a Snapdragon 732G gaming processor, a large battery and a stylish design with a round block of cameras — of which there are as many as four. Read more about the smartphone in our review.

HONOR 10X Lite

  • Screen 6.67″, resolution 2400×1080 pix.
  • 4 cameras: 48 MP, 8 MP, 2 MP, 2 MP
  • Processor Hisilicon Kirin 710A
  • Memory 4/128 GB, memory card slot
  • battery 5000 mAh

The X10 Lite model has expanded the line of affordable HONOR smartphones. The gadget is equipped with all the necessary features that can be in a device for 16,000 rubles: NFC, a decent quad camera and performance, 22.5 W fast charging, 128 GB of memory, microSD support and two separate slots for SIM cards. When buying a smartphone as a gift, there are many coupons from brand partners — and this is not a short, but a permanent promotion that can be used through the Member Center application. We talked about the gadget in more detail in our review.

Redmi 9

  • Screen 6.53″, resolution 2340×1080 pix.
  • 4 cameras: 13 MP, 8 MP, 5 MP, 2 MP
  • Processor MediaTek Helio G80
  • Memory 4/64 GB, memory card slot
  • Battery 5020 mAh

Another inexpensive and popular device from the Xiaomi clan is Redmi 9. A version with a 64 GB drive can be bought for an average of 12,000 rubles. Due to the affordable price and well-balanced features, the smartphone is suitable for those who are looking for an inexpensive gadget for social networking, work, surfing and contactless payment via NFC. It can be safely bought for a schoolboy, student or elderly parent. The large 6.53-inch screen will be convenient for working with applications and reading, and the 5020 battery will last for one to two days of active use.

Top 6 smartphones under 30,000 rubles in 2020

Most smartphones in the price range of 20-30 thousand rubles are modern flagships or their lightweight versions. So, they are equipped with good cameras, a large amount of built-in and RAM, powerful processors and capacious batteries.

Logically, Apple devices were not included in the 2020 smartphone rating under 30,000 rubles, but it has a top model from the Samsung Galaxy line and several Chinese flagships.

Samsung Galaxy A71

  • screen 6.7″, resolution 2400×1080 pix.
  • three cameras 64 MP/12 MP/5 MP/5 MP
  • 6/128 GB memory, memory card slot
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 730
  • battery 4500 mAh

Last year’s Samsung Galaxy A70 turned out so well that the company updated the model with a number in the name — now on our list of the 2020 Galaxy A71. This is a quality phone with a branded AMOLED screen and an excellent value for money. The smartphone supports contactless payment, is equipped with a powerful 4500 mAh battery and a decent amount of memory with the ability to use microSD. The fingerprint sensor is built into the screen, and the front camera is located in a small cutout.

Unlike the previous model with a triple camera, the new Galaxy A71 has four. The smartphone can still shoot in 4K at up to 30 fps and takes decent photos in bright and twilight conditions. With the official cost of a smartphone of 29,990 rubles, it can be found much cheaper in online stores. However, the user will have to make certain compromises — the lack of wireless charging and IP water protection.

Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite

  • screen 6.47″, resolution 2340×1080 pix.
  • four cameras 64MP/9MP/5MP/2MP
  • memory from 6/64 GB, without a slot for memory cards
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G
  • battery 5260 mAh

The popular Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi also made it to our ranking of the best smartphones of 2020 under 30,000 rubles with its lightweight flagship Mi Note 10 Lite. We managed to test the older model Mi Note 10, and the Lite version is not much inferior to it. Smartphones even run on the same Snadragon 730G gaming processor and differ only in cameras.

However, you will get a device with a cool quad camera that can shoot up to 64 megapixels. Also, the smartphone is equipped with a separate sensor for macro, ultra-wide-angle lens and depth sensor. The screen is built on the basis of an AMOLED matrix, so the manufacturer managed to hide the fingerprint sensor under it.

The smartphone is easily recognizable by its corporate design – a glass back with a mirror gradient and a neat camera block, in which the main sensor is highlighted. Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite is available in different versions — with 6/64, 6/128 and 8/128 GB memory. In the category «up to 30 tr.» Fits even the top model with 8 gigs of RAM.

HUAWEI Nova 5T

  • screen 6.26″, resolution 2340×1080 pix.
  • four cameras 48MP/16MP/2MP/2MP
  • memory 128 6/GB, no card slot
  • HiSilicon Kirin 980
  • battery 3750 mAh

Huawei Nova 3 was one of the first smartphones from the company to support AI algorithms for photo processing. Artificial intelligence in it worked far from perfect, but over the past two years, the manufacturer has seriously improved this feature. The Nova 5T uses a good quad camera with proprietary AI, which processes images quite smoothly.

According to the new rules of «good taste», the smartphone uses USB-C for charging — and copes with it quite quickly due to Huawei’s proprietary fast charging technology. It’s also great that it uses the manufacturer’s most powerful processor Kirin 980 — the same as in the flagship Huawei P30 Pro. This is a very energy efficient and fast processor, made using the 7nm process technology.

The model is available in three colors — classic black, blue and purple. The most interesting, in our opinion, is the last version — it is decorated with an ornament from the new logo of the series and looks the most original. Officially, the smartphone costs 27,990 rubles, but official suppliers are already giving it a good discount of 3,000.

Honor 20 Pro

  • screen 6.26″, resolution 2340×1080 pix.
  • four cameras 48MP/16MP/8MP/2MP
  • memory 8/256 GB, without slot for memory cards
  • HiSilicon Kirin 980
  • battery 4000 mAh

The Honor 20 Pro is a good choice if you need a powerful gaming smartphone — thanks to the large amount of RAM and the HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor, it does not freeze and almost does not heat up even at extreme loads. Another feature of the smartphone is the front camera, inscribed in a small round cutout in the corner of the screen. So the display seems completely frameless, and the user has a lot of room for imagination in terms of installing unusual screensavers that mask the sensor.

By the way, the Honor 20 Pro line includes the younger Honor 20 and 20 LITE models, as well as the Honor 20S selfie phone. In terms of shooting quality, of course, the flagship is in the lead, but if you want to save money and are ready to sacrifice a couple of little things like an additional camera sensor and an unusual front camera on the screen, feel free to take another device from the line.

vivo V17

  • screen 6.38″, resolution 2340×1080 pix.
  • four cameras 48MP/8MP/2MP/2MP
  • 8/128 GB memory, memory card slot
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 665
  • battery 4500 mAh

The vivo V17 we recently tested has an attractive design and a very powerful battery. The 4500 mAh battery is enough for one and a half to two days of battery life, which not all flagships can boast of. And the charging of the smartphone is quite fast – for which we can say thanks to the USB Type-C interface.

When choosing which phone to buy under 30000 in 2020, it is also important to pay attention to the amount of storage and the availability of a microSD slot. Vivo has a complete order in this regard — as many as 128 GB of internal memory with the possibility of expansion. The only drawback of the model, which is common to many smartphones, is the mediocre quality of shooting in poor lighting conditions. And the rest is nothing to complain about — and the processor here is modern (Snapdragon 665), and there is NFC, and even the fingerprint sensor is hidden under the screen, as in top-end gadgets.

Officially, the vivo V17 smartphone costs 22,990 rubles, but you can buy it at a discount even cheaper than 20 thousand — for 19,990.

Oppo Reno 3

  • screen 6.4″, resolution 2400×1080 pix.
  • dual camera 48MP/13MP/8MP/2MP
  • memory 8/128 GB, slot for memory cards
  • MediaTek Helio P90
  • battery 4025 mAh

The main features of Reno 3 are a large AMOLED screen and a fresh MediaTek Helio P90 processor. The smartphone copes well even with the most complex tasks like running heavy games at maximum settings. The fingerprint sensor is hidden under the display with minimal bezels, and during charging, OPPO’s proprietary VOOC 3.0 technology is used, which helps the smartphone to charge very quickly and without overheating.

The smartphone is available in four colors including white, black, blue and cyan. Reno 3 is equipped with a quad camera with a 48 MP main sensor, it shoots well in night mode and supports macro photography. An unusual feature of the smartphone is a pumped selfie camera with a resolution of as much as 44 megapixels. This is a record among smartphones.

What to buy in the summer of 2022: top 7 best smartphones

Many smartphones remain relevant a year or two after their debut. But every month new gadgets appear on the market, many of which deserve the closest attention. Therefore, in today’s article about the best smartphones in the summer of 2022, you will find both products that have recently appeared in Russia, as well as well-known classics. So let’s go.

Budget smartphones

Budget smartphones have long ceased to be eternally slow dialers, suitable only for unhurried communication in instant messengers.

Infinix HOT 12 NFC

  • Screen: 6.82 inches, IPS, 1612×720, 90Hz
  • Processor: Unisoc T610

The history of Russian smartphones: why none of them «shot»

Well, our top budget Infinix HOT 12 PLAY NFC begins. It appeared in Russia only at the beginning of June and is not yet widely represented in stores. For 13 thousand rubles you will get a smartphone with a huge 6.82-inch display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz, full-fledged NFC for contactless payments and a powerful 6000 mAh battery, which is enough for 67 days of standby time.

True, you should not expect any special miracles from a smartphone for that kind of money. It uses a simple Unisoc T610 chipset with 4 GB of RAM, so it’s rather difficult to call the gadget a gaming one. Its cameras are not particularly impressive either. But the large screen of the device is perfect for surfing the Internet, watching videos and chatting.

realme 9i

  • Screen: 6.6 inches, IPS, 2412×1080, 90 Hz
  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 680
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM / 128 GB permanent
  • Cameras: 50 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP, front — 16 MP

realme 9i smartphone review: Snapdragon 680 and 33W fast charging

More recently, realme 9i, which appeared in Russia, deserves the closest attention due to the successful combination of a very “tasty” price tag and its advanced features. For very little money, this gadget offers a very decent mid-range chipset, a good rear camera and a powerful 5000 mAh battery, even a 5% charge of which can last for almost 50 hours of standby time.

In addition, the gadget supports 33W fast charging and comes with a corresponding adapter in the kit. The only frustrating thing is not the highest refresh rate of its screen and the lack of a wide-angle camera, instead of which the manufacturer decided to install a macro module that is useless for most. However, for the money to expect something more is not too reasonable.

Mid-Range Smartphones

Mid-range smartphones are traditionally in great demand not only in Russia, but also in other countries of the world. It is not surprising — in some ways, such gadgets are often not inferior to full-fledged flagships, while having a much more affordable price tag.

Samsung Galaxy A53 5G

  • Screen: 6.5 inches, AMOLED, 2400×1080, 120Hz
  • Processor: Samsung Exynos 1280
  • Memory: 6 GB RAM / 128 GB permanent
  • Cameras: 64 MP + 12 MP + 5 MP + 5 MP, front — 32 MP
  • Battery: 5000 mAh

Our top also continues the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G, which has recently reached Russia. Interestingly, this gadget is not officially presented in Russia and is imported into the country by parallel imports from Kazakhstan. But even taking this into account, its price looks more than reasonable and fully corresponds to the technical characteristics of the device.

Responsible for its performance is the fresh proprietary Samsung Exynos 1280 chipset on a 5nm process technology, which in itself is a rarity for low-cost smartphones. And besides this, the novelty received a high-quality AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, a capacious 5000 mAh battery and an excellent set of cameras with a main 64-megapixel sensor, 12-megapixel wide and a 32-megapixel front camera.

Samsung Galaxy A73 5G

  • Screen: 6.7 inches, AMOLED, 2400×1080, 120Hz
  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM / 128 GB permanent
  • Cameras: 108 MP + 12 MP + 5 MP + 5 MP, front — 32 MP
  • Battery: 5000 mAh

Another newcomer to the Russian market has also become a smartphone from a Korean manufacturer. The Samsung Galaxy A73 5G, again, came to the country through parallel imports. It’s noticeably more expensive than the Galaxy A53, while still offering a larger 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with the same 120Hz refresh rate. The gadget uses a more powerful main sensor with 108-megapixel resolution and has 2 GB more RAM.

But the main difference between the smartphone is the Snapdragon 778G single-chip system. It is much more productive than the Exynos 1280 chipset, although it consumes noticeably more energy. At the same time, its autonomy is even higher: if the Galaxy A53 5G battery lasts up to 42 hours of talk time, then for a more expensive smartphone this figure reaches 45 hours.

Realme GT2 Pro

  • Screen: 6.7 inches, AMOLED, 3216×1440, 120Hz
  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1
  • Memory: 12 GB RAM / 256 GB permanent
  • Cameras: 50 MP + 50 MP + 2 MP, front — 32 MP
  • Battery: 5000 mAh

Realme GT2 Pro was introduced at the beginning of the year and has been successfully sold on the Russian market for several months. Nevertheless, this is exactly the smartphone that will not lose its relevance not only in the summer, but also towards the end of the year. Fortunately, he has everything necessary for this.

The smartphone is built on the modern flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset with 12 GB of RAM and uses a high-quality 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a high resolution of 3216×1440 pixels, an impressive brightness of up to 1400 nits and an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The set of its cameras, which combines the main 50-megapixel sensor and a 50-megapixel wide sensor with a giant viewing angle of 150 degrees, looks extremely interesting. It also comes in handy with 65W fast charging. She can fully charge his battery in just 33 minutes.

Flagship smartphones

In recent months, manufacturers have not released a single full-fledged flagship smartphone. This means that you will not find any newbies in our top. But, of course, this does not detract from the merits of the gadgets presented in the category — they will remain relevant for a very long time.

Samsung Galaxy S22+

  • Screen: 6.6 inches, AMOLED, 2340×1080, 120 Hz
  • Processor: Samsung Exynos 2200
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM / 256 GB permanent
  • Cameras: 50 MP + 12 MP + 10 MP, front — 10 MP
  • Battery: 4500 mAh

Samsung’s most advanced flagship is the Galaxy S22 Ultra, but it’s a rather specific device that won’t suit everyone. Therefore, we decided to include in our top Samsung Galaxy S22+, designed for a much wider audience, which, moreover, is noticeably cheaper than the ultimate flagship of the Koreans.

The Samsung Galaxy S22+ is powered by Samsung’s flagship Exynos 2200 chipset coupled with 8GB of RAM, enough for the heaviest games at the highest graphics settings. The smartphone uses a high-quality AMOLED display with a high brightness of up to 1750 nits and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, and its cameras will please any mobile photography enthusiast. The main 50-megapixel sensor here is complemented by a 12-megapixel wide, which shoots almost without distortion, and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.

iPhone 13 Pro Max

  • Screen: 6.7″ OLED, 2778×1284, 120Hz

Announced last fall, the iPhone 13 Pro Max will remain relevant for a long time to come. After all, it has the most productive single-chip system for smartphones to date, the smartphone’s OLED display has a high resolution of 2778×1284 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, and a trio of 12-megapixel cameras is considered the best in the industry.

In addition, Apple has seriously worked on the autonomy of the device, and the iPhone 13 Pro Max can work without recharging longer than all Cupertino smartphones. The only thing you can find fault with is not the fastest charging, which is far from what some Android smartphones offer.

  • Memory: 6/128 GB
  • Camera: 50 + 2 MP
  • Battery: 5000 mAh
  • Processor: MediaTek Helio G88

This model is the first Infinix smartphone in the Note series with an AMOLED display. The 6.7-inch screen is bright (up to 650 nits) and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space. The cutout for the selfie camera is located in the center here, and the frames are quite thin: in general, the display occupies 91% of the front panel. The frame refresh rate is standard — 60 Hz.

The smartphone received a main 50-megapixel camera with an f / 1.6 aperture, which is complemented by a depth sensor and an AI lens for scene analysis. Front camera with a resolution of 16 megapixels supports autofocus. We also note good stereo speakers and fast charging at 33 watts. The processor — eight-core MediaTek Helio G88 — will allow you to play popular games at medium graphics settings at a comfortable fps level.

The smartphone is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and also supports face unlock. Another important detail is the presence of NFC for contactless payment. In March 2022, Infinix Note 11 can be bought for 21,500 rubles on DNS and OZON — prices from other retailers can be greatly inflated.

In this model, Xiaomi focuses on the quality of shooting: the manufacturer promises that a 64-megapixel AI-enabled camera will help you create cool shots in any lighting conditions. Other advantages of the smartphone include 33W fast charging (up to 54% in 30 minutes), stereo speakers and a linear motor to create vibrations during gaming. • Memory: 8/128 GB
  • Camera: 48 + 8 + 2 + 2 MP
  • Battery: 4310 mAh
  • Processor: MediaTek Helio P95

Another relatively inexpensive smartphone with a 60Hz AMOLED screen. OPPO Reno 5 Lite has a 6.43-inch display with a built-in fingerprint scanner and a selfie camera.

The smartphone supports recording video simultaneously from two angles — from the front and main cameras. There is also an interesting AI Color mode — in it the background on the video becomes black and white, while the main object remains in color. Despite the fact that the battery of OPPO Reno 5 Lite is not the most capacious, it charges quickly thanks to VOOC 4.0 30W technology — 5 minutes of charging is enough for 3 hours of video viewing.

On the manufacturer’s website, the gadget can be bought for 24,990 rubles, so do not overpay to unscrupulous stores.

Vivo V21e

  • Screen: 6.44″ (2400×1080), AMOLED 60Hz
  • Memory: 8/128 GB
  • Camera: 64 + 8 + 2 MP
  • Battery: 4000 mAh
  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G

The Vivo V21e is also equipped with a large 6.44-inch high-resolution AMOLED display. However, the screen is not its main advantage. The manufacturer himself focuses on the compactness of the device — it has a super-thin body, only 7.38 mm, and weighs 171 g. Only a 4000 mAh battery was installed in a small device. However, the smartphone will last a whole day without recharging, and will also quickly replenish the charge: from a 33 W adapter, the battery will charge from 0 to 66% in the first half hour.

Another feature of the model is the combined RAM. 8 GB of RAM can be expanded by another 4 GB with built-in memory. We talked about how this technology works in a separate article.

The smartphone received a fairly powerful and energy-efficient Snapdragon 720G processor, based on the 8-nm process technology. Vivo also focuses on night shooting: the main camera, the width, and the front camera have the corresponding mode. The latter, by the way, has a high resolution of 44 megapixels and tracking autofocus.

In the official store, the smartphone costs 25,990 rubles.

  • Screen: 6.67″ (2400×1080), AMOLED 120Hz
  • Memory: 8/128 GB
  • Camera: 108 + 8 + 5 + 2 MP
  • Battery: 5020 mAh
  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G

The most expensive and most advanced smartphone in our selection — but it officially costs up to 30,000 rubles. In the Xiaomi store, a model with 8/128 GB of memory will cost 28,990 rubles. Retailers have inflated prices to almost 40 thousand, so we advise you to make a purchase on the manufacturer’s website — this is the most profitable.

Redmi Note 10 Pro is one of the few mid-range smartphones with an AMOLED display that supports 120Hz. We talked about why such a frame refresh rate is needed here. The device’s display has a high peak brightness of 1200 nits and is SGS (Low Blue Light) certified.

Also, the model is equipped with a 108-megapixel main camera, which allows you to take super-clear pictures even at close proximity. There is also the now fashionable function of simultaneous shooting on the front and main cameras, and also the Time Lapse Pro mode, in which you can manually set all the settings for the fast motion video.

With support for 33W charging, the smartphone replenishes the battery from 0 to 59% in the first 30 minutes at the outlet. As happens with generous Chinese manufacturers, a fast charging adapter comes with the phone right away.

Top 9: the best smartphones under 15,000 rubles

Although technology has seriously risen in price recently, the situation in the smartphone segment is quite optimistic. Less than 15,000 rubles. it is quite possible to buy a device that will not slow down or limit you in using any programs (except for top games). Our selection of great options to look out for in 2021.

Motorola Moto G30

Screen 6.5″, resolution 1600x720Four cameras 64 + 8 + 2 + 2 MpMemory 6/128 GB, slot for a memory card Processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 Battery 5000 mAh
  • Screen 6.5″, resolution 1600×720
  • Four cameras 64 + 8 + 2 + 2 MP
  • Memory 6/128 GB, memory card slot
  • CPU Qualcomm Snapdragon 662
  • Battery 5000 mAh

The most recent is a model that is still on sale (and we have already released its test). And offers what others cannot. Judge for yourself: having paid about 13,000 rubles. you get a 64MP main camera and 6GB of RAM! The rest of the parameters are also normal: a 128 GB drive, an 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 and a 5000 mAh battery with a 20 W adapter included.

The size of the device is average, with a screen diagonal of 6.5 inches, it lies perfectly in the hand. True, the resolution is 1600×720, but this is not the most important thing. The back cover has an interesting coloration that changes color depending on the angle of illumination. In addition, the panel is matte, so it practically does not collect fingerprints. On the right side of the body is an additional button that is responsible for calling the voice assistant. It is also very convenient if you use it.

Infinix HOT 10S

Screen 6.82 ″, resolution 1640x720 Cameras 48 + 2 + 2 MpMemory 4/64 or 128 GB, memory card slot MediaTek Helio G85 processorBattery 5000 mAh
  • Screen 6.82″, resolution 1640×720
  • Cameras 48 + 2 + 2 MP
  • Memory 4/64 or 128 GB, memory card slot
  • Processor MediaTek Helio G85
  • Battery 5000 mAh

The dream of those who love big screens. This device has a diagonal of almost 6.9 inches, and the display is made on a high-quality IPS-matrix. Another important point is that an increased refresh rate of 90 Hz is supported. They didn’t get smart with the cameras: they put the main one with a 48 megapixel sensor and a 2 megapixel macro camera (plus a depth sensor). The Infinix HOT 10S shoots very well — for example, it can record video with a blurry background or in slow motion with 240 fps. The front camera received a resolution of 8 megapixels — it hides in a miniature drop on the screen. A 5000 mAh battery with this screen size (and even an increased frequency) is very handy.

The MediaTek Helio G85 processor used in this smartphone is a fairly popular solution for the price segment up to 15,000 rubles. The RAM here, like most models in this collection, is 4 GB. But with the drive there may be options. If you are not a big fan of mobile shooting and offline music, you can take the 64 GB version for 12,000 rubles. For those who want more memory, there is a model with a 128 GB drive — it costs 13,500 rubles.

Redmi 9T

Screen 6.53, resolution 2340x1080 Four cameras 48 + 8 + 2 + 2 MpMemory up to 4/128 GB, slot for a memory card Processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 Battery 6000 mAh

  • Four cameras 48 + 8 + 2 + 2 MP
  • Memory up to 4/128 GB, memory card slot
  • CPU Qualcomm Snapdragon 662
  • Battery 6000 mAh

Without Xiaomi in our ranking of smartphones in 2021 up to 15,000 rubles, of course, nothing. Redmi 9T creaks into the range we have chosen: at the time of publication of the article, it cost 14,990 rubles. For the money you get a great set of features. First, a 6.53-inch 2340×1080 display with TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification. Secondly, the fingerprint scanner is in the power button, and not on the back panel, like many others. The battery has an impressive 6,000 mAh capacity, with a 22.5-watt charger included in the box.

Other characteristics include a traditional camera package with a main camera of 48 megapixels, and a memory size of 4/128 GB that is quite standard for this class. If suddenly the model rises in price, you can take a slightly more affordable version with a 64 megapixel drive.

Samsung Galaxy M12

Screen 6.5, resolution 1600x720 Cameras 48 + 5 + 2 + 2 MP Memory 4/64 GB, slot for a memory card Processor Samsung Exynos 850 Battery 5000 mAh
  • Screen 6.5″, resolution 1600×720
  • Cameras 48 + 5 + 2 + 2 MP
  • Memory 4/64 GB, memory card slot
  • Processor Samsung Exynos 850
  • Battery 5000 mAh

An interesting offer for those who prefer top brands. This Samsung is a little more modest than Chinese devices. The screen resolution is 1600 * 720 pixels, and the storage capacity is only 64 GB. But there is a capacious 5000 mAh battery with support for 15 W fast charging technology.

The smartphone has all the other attributes of a modern model. Fingerprint sensor, face recognition, Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C connector. The device is powered by an eight-core Exynos 850 processor with a frequency of 2000 MHz. With the cameras, everything is pretty standard: the main one is 48 megapixels, in addition to it — a 5-megapixel wide-angle and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The resolution of the front camera is 8 megapixels, not the smallest.

Huawei Y8p

  • Cameras 48 + 8 + 2 + 2 MP
  • Memory 4/128 GB, memory card slot
  • Processor Huawei Kirin 710F
  • Battery 4000 mAh

Every smartphone is good in its own way. For example, this one has a wonderful OLED screen and an under-glass fingerprint sensor, like older models. Did you expect to meet an OLED screen in the segment of smartphones under 15,000 rubles? Almost a unique offer.

With cameras and memory sizes, everything is relatively standard. A popular 48 MP sensor, a couple more auxiliary cameras, 4/128 GB under the hood. There is no support for Google services, but the AppGallery branded store is already so well developed that it lives great without PlayMarket.

The battery seems to be small — only 4000 mAh. But for a day it is definitely enough even with active use. Due to the small capacity and modest screen diagonal of 6.3 inches, the smartphone turned out to be very light: other models weigh under 200 grams, and this one is only 163.

Realme C25S

Screen 6.5 ″, resolution 1600x720 Cameras 48 + 8 + 2 MpMemory 4/128 GB, slot for memory card MediaTek Helio G85 processorBattery 6000 mAh
  • Screen 6.5″, resolution 1600×720
  • Cameras 48 + 8 + 2 MP
  • Memory 4/128 GB, memory card slot
  • Processor MediaTek Helio G85
  • Battery 6000 mAh

In the summer of 2021, realme released an advanced version of the C25, called the C25S. Of the obvious changes — a more productive processor (MediaTek Helio G85 instead of G70) and increased storage capacity to 128 GB. Speaking of memory, this smartphone has a triple card slot, so you can use two SIM cards and a memory card at once (at the same time).

The device runs on Android 11 with realme UI 2.0 shell. The operating system is quite pleasant — simple and understandable, with ample opportunities for individualization.

Of course, one cannot fail to mention the huge 6000 mAh battery. With a high probability, with not the most active use of the smartphone, it will last for 2 days. The kit includes an 18-watt adapter: it will take about 2 hours to fully charge.

All participants in our selection have an NFC module. Look for more options for models with this module in our selection. And if you don’t quite understand which processor is better, we have an excellent guide to modern mobile processors.
