In addition to the new foldable smartphone, watch, headphones and tablet, Xiaomi also introduced a new device under the Redmi brand. Well, not exactly new: this is the next version of the Redmi K50, called the Extreme Edition.
The main innovation was increased performance: thanks to the top-end Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and 12 GB of RAM. The display is straight from the K50 Gaming Edition, featuring a flat 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 480Hz touch sampling rate.
Triple camera. The main module is Samsung HM6 with a resolution of 108 megapixels, it supports OIS. It is complemented by the wide-angle Samsung S5K4H7 at 8 megapixels and macro at 2 megapixels. The front camera is a 20-megapixel Sony IMX596.
The battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh, and 120 W fast charging migrated from the gaming “brother”. Declared autonomy — 31 hours.
The novelty will be available in four versions, their cost is already known:
- 8 + 128 GB — 2,999 yuan (≈27,000 rubles)
- 8 + 256 GB — 3,299 yuan (≈29,700 rubles)
- 12 + 256 GB — 3,599 yuan (≈33,100 rubles)
- 12 + 512 GB — 3,999 yuan (≈36,000 rubles)
There will also be a special Champion Edition created in collaboration with the Mercedes-AMG Formula 1 team. It differs from the standard design and is offered in a single version of 12 + 512 GB at a price of 4,199 yuan (≈37,800 rubles).
