The manufacturer of rugged smartphones Cubot has released a novelty: the compact KingKong Mini 2. By modern standards, it is really tiny: the device received a 4-inch screen and weighs only 122 grams despite the additional protection.

To protect against falls, the smartphone received a metal reinforcement on the sides of the case, soft plastic pads are used at the edges, designed to absorb shock. The manufacturer also claims dust and moisture protection, but does not name specific standards.
