Chinese manufacturer Yaber has unveiled the Pico T1 DLP projector on Indiegogo crowdfunding. This is the most compact model in its class, the creators assure.
The device is enclosed in a case with a thickness of 13.2 mm and weighs only 150 grams. It is fixed with a small complete tripod, which is made of durable plastic and easily withstands travel with the gadget.
The Pico T1 projects from 10 to 100 inches diagonally at a maximum resolution of 960 × 540 pixels, 110 ANSI lumens of brightness, and a 350:1 contrast ratio. With these characteristics, the most suitable place to use the projector would be some dark place in nature under the night sky.
There is a function of mechanical focusing, automatic picture calibration and vertical alignment. A 1.5 W speaker is provided for sound output.
The pico projector supports smartphone image transmission via Miracast and AirPlay. Also, the device is equipped with convenient control buttons in the spirit of the old iPod — in the form of a ring, and the operating system of the projector is compatible with popular streaming services: Prime Video, Disney + and Netflix.
At the ends of the Yaber Pico T1 there are two USB-C connectors and one micro-HDMI. Wireless communications include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2. The heart of the device was a chip with Cortex-A53 cores and a Mali accelerator, 1 GB and 32 GB of flash memory. The device operates from the mains or from an external battery.
The official cost of the device is still unknown, but people who supported the project on Indiegogo will receive a projector for $ 240 (≈ 14,500 rubles) — this is with a 40% discount for participating in the fate of Pico T1. The device will come with a tripod and an organizer bag. The first users will receive the novelty in September.
