Since August 2, Google has provided Russians with the opportunity to use new payment methods for purchases in the Google Play app store. Now developers will be able to implement alternative solutions.

Google made this decision under pressure from the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS), which issued a warning to the company in connection with “abuse of dominant position” and decided to provide the opportunity to pay for purchases on Google Play using alternative methods within a month.
