There are more and more complaints on the Web from users who involuntarily became participants in Google’s beta testing. They noticed that the number of YouTube video pre-roll ads increased from two to five.
YouTube team unsubscribed in the comments that the so-called bumper ads should work in this format — videos up to 6 seconds long that cannot be missed. But, apparently, something went wrong during the setup: there is complaintsthat come across and long commercials.
It seems that for now the new ad format is being tested on separate groups of free YouTubers, it will not affect Premium subscribers. Google also advised sharing ad feedback via an embedded form.
