The secure desktop browser DuckDuckGo for macOS has entered the open beta stage and is available to everyone.
The desktop browser includes the same built-in protections found in the DuckDuckGo mobile apps, combining a privacy search engine, protection against snooping and tracking, cookie pop-ups, and a one-click fire wipe.
Some additional features have been added to the browser since it was originally announced. Users can now try the Duck Player feature, which protects users from targeted ads and cookies while viewing YouTube content.
Also in the application with recent updates, pinned tabs, a new bookmarks bar and saving browsing history with reference to a specific device have become available.
